Overview
This project is an innovative food delivery app design, crafted to enrich dining experiences in the digital era. With a focus on user convenience, practicality, and appealing visual aesthetics, this app offers intuitive and efficient solutions for easily and quickly ordering favorite meals. From simple navigation to attractive product displays, every aspect of this app is meticulously designed to provide users with an unforgettable experience.

In the top bar section, I have incorporated the user's address information, allowing them to edit their location address at any time. Additionally, there are five menus located at the bottom navigation: home, favorites, orders, history, and profile. These menus provide convenient access to essential features such as browsing the home page, accessing favorite restaurants or meals, viewing current orders, checking order history, and managing user profiles.
UI Design
1. Home Section: This is the main page that users see upon opening the application, presenting several crucial pieces of information. Firstly, at the bottom of the top bar, there's a carousel displaying the latest promotional food items that users can swipe through. Below this, I've divided the content into sections, starting with a search feature followed by information about food and restaurants presented in card format. As users scroll down, I've made the user's address section fixed at the top, ensuring it remains visible for easy reference.
2. Favorite Section: This section of the page includes information about the user's favorites, divided into two sections: favorite food and favorite restaurants. I've differentiated this information to make it easier for users to identify their favorite foods and restaurants. In the top bar, I've also provided an edit feature, giving users access to edit their favorite foods or restaurants for removal. This enhances user control and customization over their preferences.
3. Order Section: In this section, when a user engages in food ordering, clicking on a food item on the main page redirects them to the food delivery page. Here, users can view information about the restaurant from which they intend to order. In addition to this information, users can perform several actions, such as choosing between delivery or self-pickup options, editing the destination address, and specifying order details such as menu names, quantities, prices, and additional menu options if desired. Users can also request utensils if necessary. One of the main highlights is the availability of food promotions. Users can choose to apply promotions or not in the promo section. Moreover, in the payment information section, users can select their preferred payment method. After completing actions on this page and clicking the "pesan dan antar sekarang" button, users are directed to the order page to view order details.
4. Order & Transaction History Section: In this section, users can track the food ordering process in the order section and view actions taken by both the restaurant and the delivery driver. Once the order is delivered, users can review transaction history details. Additionally, I've incorporated a feature to download order information, providing users with a convenient way to access their order receipts when needed.
5. Profile Section: This section allows users to access additional information within the application and perform profile editing actions. Below the profile editing section, there are several other menus accessible to users. These menus provide access to order information, transactions, account security, and assistance-related information within the application.
Summary
The UI design of the Food Delivery App I created offers an intuitive and efficient user experience. Key features include food promotions, favorite management, ordering with various options, transaction history, and profile management. With a focus on convenience and clarity, the app provides a superior food delivery experience for users.
Next Steps
The design of this application is not yet perfect. Moving forward, I will add a notification feature and also a chat or messaging feature, both for restaurants and especially for chatting with the driver. I realize that these features are crucial, especially for displaying information about the driver delivering our food. User security and comfort are paramount concerns regarding these orders, thus feature modifications must continue to be developed.
